Product Structure: The structure consists of five layers: glass substrate, transparent conductive oxide layer (TCO), cadmium sulfide (CdS) window layer, cadmium telluride (CdTe) absorption layer, and back contact/electrode.

  • Good weak light performance: High absorption across the entire spectrum. Works efficiently in early morning, evening, snow, and haze conditions compared to crystalline silicon.
  • Low temperature coefficient: Highly stable at high temperatures. The temperature coefficient is about -0.21~0.25%/ºC, roughly half that of traditional cells.
  • High conversion efficiency: Compatible with the solar spectrum, absorbing over 90% of visible light with only 1μm thickness. Potential efficiency reaches 28-29%.
  • Competitive Cost: Thin absorption layer requires fewer raw materials, facilitating large-scale production.
  • Excellent Power Stability: No light-induced degradation characteristics and performs well in humid climates.
