CdTe is a direct bandgap material with superior absorption. It performs significantly better in early morning, evening, or cloudy conditions compared to crystalline silicon cells.
With a temperature coefficient of -0.21~0.25%/ºC, these cells maintain stable performance and generate more power in high-temperature environments.
The 1.47eV bandgap allows for a 90% absorption rate of visible light with only 1μm thickness. Theoretical efficiency potential is up to 28-29%.
Output does not decrease in humid climates. Unlike crystalline silicon, CdTe glass does not suffer from light-induced degradation (LID).
Specializing in CdTe and perovskite thin-film solar cell technology, we focus on Building-Integrated Photo-voltaics (BIPV) and consumer electronics. Our products feature customizable shapes and transparency, enabling photovoltaic building materials to replace traditional construction components.
