Technical Features

(1) Excellent Weak Light Performance

CdTe is a direct bandgap material with superior absorption. It performs significantly better in early morning, evening, or cloudy conditions compared to crystalline silicon cells.

(2) Low Temperature Coefficient

With a temperature coefficient of -0.21~0.25%/ºC, these cells maintain stable performance and generate more power in high-temperature environments.

(3) High Conversion Efficiency

The 1.47eV bandgap allows for a 90% absorption rate of visible light with only 1μm thickness. Theoretical efficiency potential is up to 28-29%.

(4) Power Generation Stability

Output does not decrease in humid climates. Unlike crystalline silicon, CdTe glass does not suffer from light-induced degradation (LID).
